Christmas makes me want to...

Watch movies all day long. As soon as the weather gets super cold (like it is now) and our Christmas tree is up, I want to sit back on the couch with a warm cup of tea (or cocoa!) and watch these movies:

When Harry Met Sally
Holiday Inn
The Ref
Love Actually
Miracle on 34th Street (the original)

As Christmas day draws near, that's when I bust out It's a Wonderful Life.

What Christmas movies do you like to watch?

Love Actually is wonderful, but it's good at any time of year. What I really miss are those old clay animation movies about Santa and Rudolph... I love it when Rudolph saves Christmas from that big, white, toothy, hairy beast (I forget his name)!

as you know i'm a bit of a grinch :)
but i'll be watching Gremlins and A Nightmare Before Christmas. and i have a soft spot for A Christmas Story
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0085334/
finally, in our family it is a bit of a tradition to watch a christmas special of a german tv comedy from the early 90s on christmas eve, a bit cringeworthy but close to what happens at our house :)

oh, yeah, I love those claymation ones!

I just remembered I love Scrooged with Billy Murray too. Bobcat Goldthwait is terrific in that movie.

Nightmare Before Xmas is wonderful, I can't believe I forgot that one. I think it's prolly cuz I don't own it. Maybe Santa will bring me more movies this year.

Thanks for posting!

For me it just isn't Christmas without a James Bond movie - has to be one of the classics with Sean Connery though, none of that Roger Moore or George Lazenby nonsense!!! >8)

Rudolph rocks. So does Miracle on 34th Street. And what's that movie with Danny K. about a holiday?

Hi!
I love Love Actually too! I'm actually a big sucker for chic flicks :P My all time favorite movies during Christmas holiday are;
*A Christmas Story
*Rudolph the Red-nosed Reindeer
*While you were sleeping
*'Twas the Night Before Christmas
*A Charlie Brown Christmas

Scrooged..."Hello, rabbit!"
A Christmas Story - "Fra gilay, it's French"
The Grinch - The REAL one, not that Jim Carrey travesty
Santa Claus Conquers The Martians - Not really, but it is a great title.

And I hate to admit this, but I have never seen It's A Wonderful Life...I know, just kick me out of the country now...
