4 Months Old Today!

Wow, time flies. It was this time last year we found out I was pregnant. This morning I insisted on taking a couple of family photos to mark the occasion and even though little D is super tired he still looks super cute!


Here is the 4-month-old who greeted me this morning, in all the grainy, camera-phone glory.

Big Laughs

On the eve of his turning into a 4-month old, Durkin started laughing. He started lol'ing. :)

When I picked him up from daycare today, he was chilling in a little bouncy chair and when he saw me his eyes lit up. Aww #1. I knelt down to say hi and talked in my special mama-gibberish tongue and he laughed with a hearty chuckle. Aww #2. So I kept it up for a bit and got a few more oh-so-charming gurgle-y chortles, enough to fill my heart with immense joy. Happy, happy mama.

I'm pretty sure he was laughing 'with' me, not 'at' me. But I'll take anything I can get. This baby thing is gettin' good!
