What's the best gift you've ever been given?
Naomi's answer:
Most recently it was my Grandpa Chuck agreeing to walk me down the aisle at my wedding. He hasn't traveled in years, not since my father's funeral, but he is going to fly all the way to Washington and give me away.
If my dad can't be there, this is the next best thing.

Life...By the fine surgeons, doctors, and nurses at Swedish Hospital in the summer and fall of 2001.
Having the chance to be of real physical help to my parents (Grandma Pat and Grandpa Chuck) in May 2006 6 weeks before my mom died. I do not know where that helpful person inside me came from--I surprised even myself. It was actually fun to cook and clean and shop for them. We had a ton of laughs and that's how I remember the last time I spent with Pat. Those 2 weeks were our best and final gifts to each other.
My daughter Imogen's spirit is the greatest gift I have been privileged to receive. I cannot believe that I grew a viable person let alone one with such an incredible spirit and soul.
baby gabriel. I love him so. He makes me laugh every day.
