Welcome to what I hope will be many more Questions of the Day!
I used to send these out via email, but I could never find the right way to circulate all those great answers. Then blogs came along and anyone can add comments to blogs, so QOTD has been reborn!
To start us off, I will ask an oldie-but-a-goodie. Please know that I have all of your wonderful email answers at home. :)
QOTD:
Which movie(s) do you wish you could see AGAIN for the first time? Meaning, you've already seen the film, but the experience was so magical or scary or thrilling or awe-inspiring that you wish you could see it again just to have that feeling once more.
Naomi's answers:
The Usual Suspects
Shallow Grave
Lord Of The Rings (first one)

False eyelashes
Sometimes a girl just has to be a girl. For my upcoming wedding I've enlisted my sister's help in choosing the right make-up for the big day. We decided false eyelashes would be great for photos. She prettied me all up and here are the results --- click here.

The Big Kahuna
I love it when you watch a movie with little or no expectations and it blows you away.
We watched The Big Kahuna this weekend. As soon as it started I found the dialogue so fresh and fast and cerebral that I knew it must have been a play. I looked it up; it was.
Kevin Spacey is pretty consistently great. He does not disappoint here. Danny DeVito isn't always so, but I loved his sad character in this film. And he has the best speech of all toward the end of the movie. This speech made me take notice, caused me to sit on the edge of my seat, hanging on every word. I wish I'd had that speech in my head while I lived in Colorado. It could have served me well in a number of conversations there.
I won't spoil it for you. I just hope you'll watch it too.

Ice Storm #2
Our second bad weather storm in recent weeks, and it's oh so beautiful! There isn't that much snow really, but the snow came down last night as the temps on the ground were below freezing. It was instant ice and it likely won't melt until tomorrow.
It's cold and it's gorgeous!
