Harry Potter

I finished the book at around 7:30 PM Sunday night.

I can't say anything more until my sister finishes too. My mom finished earlier today and we got to chat about it. I'm so glad I have other Potter fans to talk to.

Friendship

When I first moved to California after college I was a bit lost, not sure what I wanted out of life and I didn't know anyone in the town where I lived. I worked at a preschool in Napa, CA, and I met one of the coolest girls ever - Tracy Alexander. We worked together for only a month, but we've been friends ever since.

She recently got married, has a wonderful family and I just got off the phone with her. Tracy, you are truly a gift to this world. You are kind, funny, gracious and an amazing artist. Keep taking those great photos!

Tracy (now Tracy Turner) recently graced the front pages of a local newspaper. I'll let you read the article for the full story. :)

Always an adventure: click here for the story.

This one is for you, Jocelyn

Favorite baby photo

Need I say more?

Carolyn & Brian's visit

Carolyn, it was so great to see you. Brian, you are pretty great; can't wait until you're officially a part of this family.

This photo rocks!

I took just a few photos of the occasion - click here.

Wooden Boats and Fireworks

We spent yesterday evening aboard a wooden boat named Grebe. My sister's fiance Kevin kindly invited us to watch the fireworks from the Center for Wooden Boats on South Lake Union in Seattle. The boats were beautiful and so were the fireworks.

Here are a couple of shots I took yesterday... links below to more photos.

For some seriously amazing fireworks photos click here. I can't figure out which one is my favorite b/c I think these are all fantastic. I love my camera so much - best purchase ever!

iPhone line - 6/29/07

Even the suburb of Redmond, WA had a line Friday night as the world saw the iPhone unveiled.

I don't think I'll be spending the $600 to get this cool gadget. I don't even like AT&T or Cingular, so I'll wait for some future version of this seemingly awesome phone.
